For some reason, in the middle of last night, jabber.org stopped working for me (can't ping it or anything), and I can't connect to irc at freenode.net. I didn't do anything to the network configuration. Pretty much, I woke up, gaim had closed itself, and when I restarted it, I couldn't connect to jabber or freenode. I can ping freenode, but can't connect to it. From a Windows machine downstairs, I could connect to these, so I tried it on my dual boot box with Lunar and XP, but it doesnt seem to work for any of the hosts connected to this network hub. It works for all the others, though. Is this simply because hubs suck? _________________ In Soviet Russia, ISOs install you. |

Odd. I set the link that was going from the router to the hub to normal (from uplink), and then put that cable into my pc, and now it works. W--OOO---NN--KK---YYY. _________________ In Soviet Russia, ISOs install you. |

freenode was also down - please check their website in case of outages - they usually have alternative logon methods available on their site in case of outages. |
