|
|
I've just noticed the Modules tab on the Lunar home page. What a good idea.
Is it new, or am I just lacking the appropriate powers of observation?
It doesn't show up in all of the top tab bar on all pages.
Anyway, the real reason for this message:
In firefox, when I click on one the module categories, I see four "tabs" at the top
that I think are supposed to show colour coding for the last update times of the
modules. Unfortunately they all appear to be such close shades of blue that there
isn't really any way of telling them apart.
Is it just my configuration, my eyes, or my lack of powers of observation |

It's not my powers of observation
I checked at work today, and the colours are visible (pale blue, green, yellow and purple IIRC) but the tabs are still whiter than white here on firefox under xfce4 at home.
Could it be the LCD screen I have here? Firefox colour settings? |

This is quite a new feature we added just recently - it was in testing before and not linked on the main page yet. The pastel colors aare quite hard indeed to distinguish, I'll ask Striker to adjust them and make them a bit darker - especially some LCD screens in default settings make it hard to differentiate between these light shades. |

as well as the colour coding, it would be really neat if the user could click on the column headers and sort the list that way.
ModuleName - we already have.
Version - probably the least interesting.
Updated - an ISO date but sorting would give most recent last
Website - group some related modules, but not those on SourceForge
Maintainer - what else does s/he do
Just a suggestion |

Not my eyes, nor my powers of observation
Just the default brightness and contrast settings on this cheap new LCD monitor.
If I reduce the contrast down to 28 out of 100 then the pastel shades start to show through, but the rest of the screen becomes a bit more grey. If I hadn't seen the pastel colours on another system I would never have guessed they were there, nor bothered to fiddle with the monitor settings. |
