I've been using the module fluxbox-devel for awhile now, after advice suggesting to do so. But after my latest lunar update, the module was removed from moonbase - does this mean it's safe to remove fluxbox-devel switch to the fluxbox?
A few other modules which were also removed: gnome-libs, libglade and ORBit. Again, is it safe to remove and replace these?
libglade --> libglade2
ORBit --> ORBit2
gnome-libs --> ?? |

Ah, you aren't a member of the Lunar Mailing List otherwise you would have seen the RFC and followup threads discussing the removal of old gtk+ and gnome-1.x modules from the moonbase.
That might answer your question why some modules have disappeared. I can't help you with the particular modules you mentioned. Maybe someone else can help you... |

you can switch to fluxbox safely, yes.
there should not be a need to use ORBit, libglade or gnome-libs, they are replaced by gnome2 components that you should have already installed if needed. |
