ipw2100 : No Xmit Handler

Hey i got a strange error since i updated ipw2100 fom 1.1.0 to 1.1.2. The module compiles fine. The kernel module loads fine. i can even see all access points when doin iwlist scan , but hes doesnt associate with them when i enable encryption. i also installed ieee8021 wich installs fine. when disable encryption on my access point the driver associates, but when i do dhcpcd i get : "No Xmit handler" in my logs. and it doesnt work. Its def. not an error with the ap, since it works for other pcs.
Does anyone know an answer ?
