1. The information you provided is way to vague for anyone to be of help.

2. You should not use a single thread for multiple questions.

3. Welcome to Lunar-Linux.

As already noted, it would help if you said which ISO you had installed.

Firstly: did you follow all of the instructions given in man lfirsttime so that your compiler toolchain, moonbase and packages installed from the ISO are up-to-date?

Secondly, if you are working with any version before the 1.6.2-beta1-i686 ISO described on the Lunar Linux home page, you will need to explicitly lin XOrg7 before you can build any graphical applications. This is the one dependency in the moonbase that is deliberately implicit. It does take some time to work through its own dependencies, so you will have to be patient and let it build while you do something else.

Once XOrg7 has been installed or updated successfully, you can then lin xfce4 and the lin xfce4-extras-profile

Hope this helps

just to know
Code:
In file included from io/qfilesystemwatcher_inotify.cpp:50:
/usr/include/sys/syscall.h:32:27: error: bits/syscall.h: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [.obj/release-shared/qfilesystemwatcher_inotify.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.3.2/src/corelib'

Code:
lin qt4

No, this isn't an XOrg problem, but I don't remember exactly what it is.

It is either that you haven't built a new kernel, so the kernel headers have not been installed,
so you need to lin kernel-headers-2.6

or

you've hit a glitch in the system and need to lin -rc glibc

and I'm not even so sure about the second. Maybe one of the wizards will see this and be able to give the definitive answer.

Good luck.

PS. Have you tried putting the error message into google and see what shows up?

Indeed, one of the hits from a google search reveals another Lunar forum question, which boiled down to the question:
Code:
Did you run lin -cr gcc glibc gcc bash coreutils tar wget as recommended by man lfirsttime ?

And when he did, it seems the problem went away... maybe it'll solve your problem too Wink
