BRANCH OF MOONBASE

For those who are interested in xgl, there is a small howto on the wiki:
http://wiki.lunar-linux.org/index.php/Install_XGL

Please do mind the big, fat, gay warning on top of this topic...
Don't, i repeat, DON'T do this on a production box if you have no idea what you are doing...

i added NVIDIA-beta in the zbeta section of moonbase

you can find beryl (a window manager that supports 3-D effects like compiz but without the gnome-dependencies) in http://merlin.ugent.be/lunar/xgl.tar.bz

you will need xorg-server from the 7.1 branch (http://merlin.ugent.be/lunar/xorg-7.1.tar.bz2)

beryl-core, beryl-settings, beryl-manager, beryl-plugins
and
emerald, emerald-themes

xgl-cvs,xgl-git,glitz-cvs,cairo-cvs or mesa-cvs are not needed

cheers,
S.
