Which ISO did you install?

If you installed 1.6.2alpha, then XOrg7 and xfce should already be installed. See 1.6.2-i686 alpha ISO announcement and followups

If you installed 1.6.1 or older, then you will need to install XOrg7 before you can run any X application. Simply lin Xorg7

This is the one area in Lunar where the dependency is implicit. If you want to install a desktop rather than a server, Lunar assumes that you will explicitly install and configure X before you start installing the applications that use it.

Note: you will need to lin XOrg7 xterm xclock twm to give the minimum working desktop if you want to multi-task while building your preferred desktop environment.
