Hi, I have a problem with booting process of grub. Here is my grub configuration

default 0
timeout 30

title lunar linux
root (hd0,1)
kernel /2.4.25-stable root=/dev/hda2 devfs=nomount

title windows xp
rootnoverify (hd1,1)
map (hd1,1) (hd0,1)
map (hd0,1) (hd1,1)
makeactive
chainloader +1

it says that file is not found on the top (kernel /2.4.25-stable root=/dev/hda2 devfs=nomount. the partitions as you see are correct.

what should I do to fix this problem

can you execute :

grub --device-map=device.map

and post the device.map file here?
