Hallo
I habe installed RC2 with kernel 2.6.14-normal and made after reboot :
lunar update
lin moobase
lin kernel-headers-2.6
lin udev
lin module-init-tools
Is it now possible to make
lin fluxbox
or
lin xfce
to install the xserver, or is it recomended to compile a kernel from source like:
lin linux-2.6-mm (which I would chooseif i had to do so)
Thanks

after installing, we recommend that you (at least once) compile a kernel using one of the linux-2.* modules. This is required for some other packages, such as XOrg.
We also generally advice you to install XOrg first before continuing to install a desktop environment, smaller bites are easier to eat ;^) |
