|
Dear Sir:
I try to update glibc 2.3.6 on Lunar-linux 1.4.0
on kernel 2.4.27-ll-r7.0.0
I used the command
lin -v glibc
then my server download glibc-2.3.6 and compile it.
I got the error below
/bin/sh: no: command not found
make[2]: ***[stamp-libm-err] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/glibc-2.3.6/manual/'
make[1]: ***[manual/subdir_install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/glibc-2.3.6/'
make: *** [install] Error 2
creating /var/log/lunar/compile/glibc-2.3.6.bz2
Problem detected during BUILD
I had check /bin/sh that link to /bin/bash
Then I try to compile some program such as perl.
My server report Segmentation fault then I cannot use any command.
I tried to compile other program and I got the report Segmentation fault also.
What should I do for fix this problem? Plz help me.
Best Regards
Tosapol. |

segmentation faults indicate faulty memory or a completely hosed system. Use the memtest boot option from the ISO or reinstall - trying to fix this could take weeks - it's often better to do a reinstall. |
