If I go out and buy a new hd to put Lunar on, can I stick /dev/hda (ArchLinux) in the /dev/hdb slot in me box? Or is it all like "BAHH!!! I AM TEH HDA!!!"? _________________ In Soviet Russia, ISOs install you. |

you will need to change the jumpers, and all on the HDs to move hda to hdb. making the current hda a slave, and the new hda a master. Some bioses let you change the boot order, which would probably make it easier than pulling all the HDs out, then having to plug them back in, just to boot up, and look up the jumper settings, then unplug them again, and put them in there places again. Or better yet, pull the current hda(Arch Linux) out totally, then you know for sure your not going to mess it up. |
