If you want to install xfce4 from svn (pretty close to the 4.4 release) you can grab a tarball with the modules :

http://merlin.ugent.be/lunar/xfce4-svn.tar.gz

untar this in /var/lib/lunar/moonbase/zlocal and lin xfce4-svn

(don't forget to "lunar set ZLOCAL_OVERRIDES on" )
