Regardless of what settings I use in Lunar, when I install something, the optimizations listed are:
+ CC="gcc"
+ CXX="g++"
+ CPP="cpp"
+ CFLAGS=""
+ CXXFLAGS=""
+ CPPFLAGS=""
+ LDFLAGS=""
I installed via an RC2 1.6.0 ISO, however did a complete update, so it should be current with the lunar scripts... I have tried different types of optimizations, safe on and off, etc... no change whatsoever... |

that list literally means 'don't optimize' and is equivalent to compiling without any optimizations manually.
what's the problem?  |

| the problem is I WANT the optimizations... and its not setting them when I set them via the lunar menu. |
