After the recent reaction to my less then perfect bug report, I ask this cautiously:
Have the Xfig sources been moved, changed, updated? I get 404 when try to lin Xfig.

No, you are right. I went to the Modules tab on the Lunar Linux home page,
searched for xfig and then followed the links to its new download area.
You should be able to download it using
Code:

lget  --url  http://xfig.org/software/xfig/3.2.5/  xfig

Once you've downloaded it, make sure it's in /var/spool/lunar, and then just
run lin as normal.

An update to the xfig module that fixes the download source URL is now available
in the moonbase. Simply lin moonbase and then lin xfig again.

In future, if a module fails to download, you might want to consider:
(a) reporting it on the bug tracker and hope that someone has time to fix it for you
(b) search the web for the tarball and download it from an different URL then lin
(c) use lvu edit module, update the zlocal copy to use the URL from (b) and then
. . . lvu submit module so that the one of the devs can update the moonbase easily

If you are running theedge then (c) will submit using http. If running lunar you might
need to check the Submitting Modules page (not sure if it's up to date though)

I have no problem with installing Xfig, I just wanted to make sure everything was as it should be with it in Lunar. My work with Lunar is based on the idea that I am not the only one using it. I did not want to post a bug report before making sure that I wasn't missing some shared Lunar secret that Xfig was out of business.
But thank you for the fix, that is brilliant.
