Hi,

I am considering switching to Lunar. Does Lunar have holds and soft holds like the non-free Sorcerer Linux does?
(i.e. I would like to hold or pin certain versions of software).

Lunar has roughly the same mechanisms of 'holding' versions

to view held modules:
Code:
lvu held

to add held modules:
Code:
lunar hold module1 module2 module3

to remove held modules:
Code:
lunar unhold module2

held modules will never be recompiled, even when using
Code:
lin -c
or equivalent functions that force compile or resurrection.
